Fire Incidents

A rubbish fire is currently burning within the Quirindi Waste Management Facility, just north of the Quirindi township. While there is no immediate threat to properties, hazardous smoke from the fire is moving north towards Werris Creek and nearby rural properties. Residents in the **Quirindi, Werris Creek and Currabubula** areas are advised to keep doors and windows closed to prevent smoke entering your home.
