The speed limit outside work hours is 60km/h. Drivers of Over Size and/or Over Mass vehicles with overall width 4.5 metres and greater are required to use wide load bays provided and call ahead on UHF Channel 19.

From Monday 14 April safety barriers will be installed along Wollombi Road and major construction will commence in Stage 1 of the Wollombi Road Upgrade Project. Upcoming construction activities include relocating utilities, upgrading stormwater and road pavement works.

Please note the following conditions:

• 40km / hr from 271 Wollombi Road to 29 Wollombi Road
• No right turn onto Lochinvar Street from Wollombi Road, heading East (to town).
• No right turn onto O’Neill Street from Wollombi Road, heading East (to town)
• No right turn from O’Neill Street onto Wollombi Road (to town)
• Wangi Ave is closed at the Wollombi Road intersection
